Once again the dance brings us to the New Moon phase but this month we have the special occasion of a Solar Eclipse. Eclipses bring about significant energy for change in our world and the increase of energy they provide can last up to six months.

We will be experiencing several events in Gemini this month and next. First is the Solar Eclipse New Moon with the Sun entering into Gemini in the morning, Venus went retrograde in Gemini on May 15th and goes direct on June 27th. On June 5th we will be privileged to see a 125 year event of Venus transiting in front of the Sun. In addition to all this Jupiter enters Gemini June 11th. One can only wonder what the Universe is planning for us with so much energy flowing into our world as the Moon throws open the door of light for us personally and for the world and its affairs. If you have planets in Gemini the Eclipse and transits are more significant because they will be expanding on those components about you personally as well the house (or area of life) you have Gemini in.

The New Moon Cycle always brings opportunities for us to step forward and begin something new in our life. The cycle itself supports energy growing and expanding, with a Solar Eclipse it adds a powerful infusion for that energy to expand and grow to a much a greater potential. 

When the moon is new, you cannot see it. It is sitting right next to the Sun so there is no light being reflected. As it begins to move away from the Sun, the light begins to reflect, and the Moon grows brighter and brighter each night. When the light grows so do the things we start during the New Moon phase. 

More importantly, the light from within us begins to emerge into our consciousness.   What was brought to light during the full moon phase when the light went within to reveal something from our inner nature, now finds its way to our awareness or consciousness.  Whenever we enter into a New Moon phase we have about two weeks of active doing.

Because this one is accompanied by a Solar Eclipse what we begin will have much greater potential for growth and success. We are being given a gift of energy from the Universe during this Eclipse, use it wisely and it will give you extraordinary treasures!

May 20th, 21st, 22nd Moon in Gemini
Over these three days we have the best potential all month to have new ideas flowing into our consciousness. Start a journal, write a book, even a dream journal will allow thoughts to flow and provide powerful and creative forms of communication. Get out and socialize, conversations will be effortless and may become very special relationships.

Write down feelings and take the time to express creatively and honestly. A wonderful few days to start new home projects, plant, especially vegetables, try new recipes or write a recipe book of family recipes.
